Sparrow Margins works in the space where indie rock’s restraint meets early emo’s emotional spillover. Drawing from Christie Front Drive, Mineral, and Seam, the project gives unguarded writing room to breathe. A building passed in traffic or a voice lingering into morning can carry as much weight as a confession.

Across these songs, attraction and uncertainty occupy the same room. The perspective shifts between encounters, leaving fragments of conversation and ordinary surroundings to accumulate their own meaning. There’s an intimacy to the writing that leaves the listener close enough to recognize something, with enough distance to make it their own.
